Booking Terms & Conditions

The customer always comes first when you hire a Starlite Motorhomes Recreational Vehicle. To ensure you know exactly what to expect during your booking and hire please read our Terms and Conditions below.

Minimum Hire

Minimum hire of our Motorhome is 2-nights and you can hire our Motorhome for an unlimited number of days. If you would like a 1-night hire, we can accommodate this but you will have to pay additional charges.
The Customer must provide a valid original and photocopy of ID Card, and/or a passport.

Payment of Hire

Availability is on a request and confirm basis at the time of reservation. A reservation is only binding after it has been confirmed by Starlite Motorhomes and 100% of the total hire and deposit fee has been received. Terms and conditions including cancellation policy will apply from this point on wards. Once the reservation is confirmed by Starlite Motorhomes.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit of Rs.20,000 is required 2 days before rental period starts to cover any damages or road traffic fines or any un-paid toll fees etc. incurred. Payment for the security deposit will be refunded automatically 2 days after end of hire provided the vehicle being returned is exactly as it was on the day of hire, with a clean interior, full fuel tank and a full cylinder of LPG.

Cancellation Charges

A customer cannot cancel their booking, once the payment has been received by Starlite Motorhomes and if the customer wishes to cancel, he/she will lose 100% of the hire fee.
Starlite Motorhomes will not negotiate on this matter whatsoever.

Starlite Motorhomes cannot postpone the booking/hire or transfer money from one customer to another.

Passengers

Starlite Motorhomes authorizes the use of this vehicle for up to 10 passengers including the Driver and the Conductor.
Drinking Water, the water stored in the Motorhome is not recommended for drinking. We advise that you drink bottled water.

Motorhome Collection and Return

Collection: The Motorhome will be available to collect at 2pm on the start date of the hire period. Please allow up to 1 hour for the hand-over of the Motorhome and to complete documentation.

Return: The so-called 'checkout' (return time) of the Motorhome is 12 noon at the end of the hire period/day. The vehicle must be returned with a full tank of fuel, LPG (liquid petroleum gas) and returned in the same condition that it was rented to you.
No Motorhome can be returned outside our normal business hours, without prior arrangement. Extra charges will apply, these charges will be in addition to the agreed hire tariff.

  • If a Motorhome is returned to our station later than the agreed time, Rs.1,500 (per hour entered) will be payable. You will be affecting the holiday of the next person to hire the Motorhome. Should the late return of the Motorhome make us liable for extra costs, we reserve the right to pass-on these costs on to you. Charges and costs for late return will be deducted from your security deposit.
  • We make it clear that you, (the hirer) are responsible for all Toll, Parking or Entry fees of any kind whatsoever of the vehicle.
  • No refund is given for early return of the vehicle.
  • The vehicle must be returned in a clean condition with a full fuel tank and a full LPG (liquid petroleum gas) cylinder, on the return date and time set out under in the rental agreement.
  • Starlite Motorhomes will not refund to you any monies, nor have any obligation to provide a replacement vehicle, if the vehicle is returned prior to the return time or date for any reason whatsoever.

Responsibility

  • The staff provided by Starlite Motorhomes is for the looking-after of the vehicle and are not to be used for any personal use or chores. The staff are provided in helping in the driving of the vehicle and in guiding the hirer(s) on how to use the facilities provided within the vehicle.
  • All staff members, provided aboard the vehicle, their daily meals are to be provided by the Hirrer or a monetory compensation be paid to the staff towards their meals.
  • You are welcome to give 'Tips/Gratuity' to our staff, but our company policy is that a receipt will be issued by our staff to you, and the 'Tips/Gratuity' will be donated to a charity of Starlite Motorhomes choosing.
